CS:GO update

CS:GO update

csgo update

Looking for details on the latest CS:GO update? Whether it’s new weapons and maps, or minor tweaks to the game’s core arsenal, staying on top of the meta is key to dominating this competitive FPS.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive isn’t updated like other esports. While the likes of League of Legends and StarCraft 2 spend weeks testing every small change, CS:GO’s come out of the blue. While Dota 2 will reinvent itself every three months, CS:GO’s changes are so subtle you might not even notice them logging in from day to day. To help facilitate you in noticing this, we are going to track the latest CSGO updates that hit live  servers in this post. Each time Valve make significant patches to the game, we will let you know what is worth worrying about, what isn’t, and also provide as full a changelog as we are able to.

But before we crack on with the latest CS:GO update, we should mention that we’ll only be adding new patches as and when they are finally deployed to live servers. Anyway, on with the changelog.

CS:GO’s latest version was released on June 19 and contains some minor map and miscellaneous changes.
League of Legends patch 9.14

League of Legends patch 9.14

After a little while longer than normal, League of Legends patch 9.14 is now live on the PBE – and boy is this one massive update. Prior testing for Malphite and Wukong returns from League of Legends patch 9.13, but there’s a host of other changes on offer too.

Akali, Blitzcrank, and Cassiopeia are all in line for some major changes, and there’s also a first pass at that much needed nerf for Lux. There are also some significant changes to Pyke’s “Your Cut” system, as well as Swain’s ultimate and Tahm Kench’s ravenous appetite. If that weren’t enough, there’s a bunch of QoL changes which will help characters like Karma keep track of invisible foes.

Beyond that, there are the new Demacia Vice skins, which put Garen and Lucian in their own 80s-style buddy cop show, and a revamped Death Recap, which is now live on the PBE – and only a decade or so late. And if you still want more, then you can play more Teamfight Tactics, you lucky things.

We don’t have an exact release date for League of Legends patch 9.14, but updates tend to release every two weeks. With that in mind, expect the new patch to arrive on Wednesday, July 17.

There are currently no item changes in League of Legends patch 9.14, but be sure to check back for more information. There are currently no rune changes in League of Legends patch 9.14, but be sure to check back for more information. The new Death Recap should now be live on PBE.

Every League of Legends patch comes with its own Login Screen. They’re always fairly excellent, and this one is sure to be no exception. Patch 9.14’s hasn’t shown up yet, but it’s likely to be based on the new Demacia Vice skins.

That’s all we’ve got for you in League of Legends patch 9.14. You can keep up to date with the live version of the game with the League of Legends patch 9.13 notes, or just play some Teamfight Tactics. Beyond that, be sure to join us again for League of Legends patch 9.15.

The headline is Qiyana, Empress of the Elements. The new champion is an assassin who wields a ring blade imbued with elemental powers that’ll grant her different abilities depending on whether it’s used in the brush, the river, or up against the wall. She’s far and away the biggest balance change, but tweaks to Udyr and Illaoi could be pretty chunky too. Meanwhile, Wukong and Malphite are back for more testing.

The other big change is the introduction of a brand-new game mode. Teamfight Tactics is a potentially permanent new edition to the game, inspired by the autobattler genre made famous thanks to Dota Auto Chess. The mode is likely to undergo some testing, but a ranked version is likely to make its way to the game in League of Legends patch 9.14 in a few weeks’ time.

Downtime for League of Legends patch 9.13 begins early tomorrow morning. Maintenance will begin at 03:00 PT for NA servers, 05:00 BST for EUW, and 03:00 CEST for EUNE, and is scheduled to last for three hours.

The new patch will also usher in the Teamfight Tactics release date. An open beta for the game will begin in North America on June 26, and will roll out across other servers over the following week.
