Even though it is still in the early stages of access, it is undeniable that Risk of Rain 2 is the most successful sequel that comes with new technology, namely 3D when compared to the prequel which begins with 2D. The multiplayer roguelike game now seems to be ready to get the latest updated content, Scorched Acres.
Through his Twitter account, Hoopoo as a developer says that Scorched Acres will be ready to be released. This update will have truly new content from the series. According to Dualshockers who saw it directly at E3, he will also present a new character named Rex with a mixture of plants and robots. The update will also present new items, stages, drones and bosses.
Risk of Rain 2 is now available on PC via Steam Early Access, while the Scorched Acres update will be released on June 25th.
